The world of writing

Kat Yares has been writing fiction for her entire adult life. She is an indie author and screenwriter. Her short fiction has appeared in numerous print publications and online. Currently she, along with her husband Kevin, is working on screenplay adaptations of several of her stories with the intention of creating short films.

My fiction is primarily in the horror genre.  Unlike many, I write horror not to gross out or startle my readers, but to make them think.  Most of my stories are mind games and deal with mans (or woman's) inhumanity to man (or woman).
