The world of writing

I'm an IT-geek by day and a writer by night. In the off-chance I'm not supporting an electronic health record system or working on a book, I like to read, putter around my garden, or hit the slopes. I also have two dogs, Callie and MacGyver, who allow me to live with them.

I incorporated a bit of the "nerd nation" into my thriller, "Tourist Trapped," by introducing Chad Cooper, a database administrator-turned-lawyer. His logical thinking helps Amanda Sloane in the search for her missing sister. The book will be published in the spring of 2014.
